Medtech Company Logo Restyling in Lausanne
Lymphatica
Client brief
Lymphatica, based in Lausanne in Switzerland, required a complete redesign of its company logo, including the integration of the “medtech” tagline and a stronger professional positioning. The previous identity appeared unrefined, visually heavy, and insufficiently aligned with the company’s technological profile.
Project analysis
The company developed the world’s first permanent implant designed to replace the function of lymphatic vessels in patients suffering from chronic lymphedema — a groundbreaking innovation that demanded a visual identity capable of reflecting its scientific and medical significance.
Within the medical and biotech sector, visual communication cannot be improvised. Medtech companies require professional designers who can translate research, precision, and reliability into a strong brand identity. Automated solutions or AI-generated logos rarely communicate the level of credibility, scientific rigor, and long-term value required in healthcare innovation.
Restyling Concept
The redesign combines multiple layers of meaning into a coherent and distinctive visual system.
A direct reference to the previous logo was maintained, where the icon simultaneously represented the letter “y” in the name. In the new version, the symbol has been separated from the logotype to improve readability while increasing the visual importance of the graphic element.
The highlighted “y” carries several symbolic interpretations:
- a stylized human figure, light and dynamic, with a slightly feminine character
- the flow of lymphatic channels within the human body
- an external circular shape representing protection and healthcare, similar to a shield
A custom-designed typeface reinforces a sense of precision, innovation, and technological authority consistent with the biomedical field.

Gradient shades enhance the concept of lymphatic flow while introducing a modern and dimensional visual effect. The color palette references the medical field through aqua green and Veronese green tones, associated with health, care, and advanced technology.
Identity design
The logo symbol was designed to function independently as an icon for social media, digital interfaces, and graphic patterns while maintaining strong brand recognition. Applications include business cards, letterheads, and a preview of the future responsive website. Every element ensures consistency across all brand touchpoints.
