Artist logo design
Artist’s Website, Art Catalogs and Visual Identity Design
Client request
Client request was to develop a complete visual identity and communication project for an artist, starting with the restyling of the existing logo and extending to the design of the artist’s website, art catalogs, and communication materials for exhibitions. The project needed to present the artist’s work clearly and effectively, showcasing more than 100 works and sculptures organized into different categories and accessible across desktop and mobile devices. The visual identity was therefore applied to a range of communication materials, from the website and art catalog to business cards and exhibition materials.
Graphic design and responsive web design development
After restyling the logo and visual identity, I developed the graphic design of the website, creating a structure capable of presenting an archive of more than 100 works and sculptures in an organized and accessible way. Particular attention was given to the design of the gallery: the grid and image layout were carefully developed to maintain a balanced presentation even when the artworks have different formats and proportions.
Over the years, the project’s visual communication has also expanded through several art catalogs, exhibition materials, posters and invitations, maintaining visual continuity with the artist’s identity.
Logo restyling and identity design
First of all, the logo was updated through a subtle restyling, preserving the recognizable characteristics of the original mark. The visual identity was developed through the design of the business card, letterhead and envelopes, together with communication materials created for the artist’s exhibitions.
The same visual language was then applied to the design of the art catalogs and publications created for different exhibitions, as well as posters, invitations and other coordinated materials. The aim was to maintain a recognizable and consistent visual identity while keeping the artworks at the center of the communication. The colors were also selected in relation to the contrast created by the sculptures and to the material most frequently used by the artist: White Carrara Marble.

Restyled Logo Variant on White Background
The logo is shown in a white-background version designed for use within the catalog and on letterhead.
Professional Business Card Design
The business card was designed with different images of the artist and his works on the back, creating a visual connection between the identity and the artist’s production.
Letterhead and Envelope Design
The visual identity was extended to other essential communication materials, including letterhead, envelopes and business cards, creating a consistent and professional stationery system.
Responsive Website Design
The website was designed to present the artist’s extensive body of work and make the gallery easy to browse across different devices. Because the artworks have different formats and proportions, particular attention was given to the gallery structure and image management. The grid was designed with automatic image centering to provide a balanced and consistent presentation on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

Art Catalog Design
The catalog design was developed to create a visual connection with the artist’s identity while giving the artworks the central role. The square format creates a balanced relationship between vertical and horizontal works, while the strong contrast and dark backgrounds emphasize the sculptures. Each artwork image was carefully prepared and precisely cut out to ensure a clean and consistent presentation throughout the publication. Graphic Design for Art Catalogs and Exhibitions
Over the years, the visual communication project has expanded through several art catalogs created for exhibitions, together with posters, invitations and other promotional materials. Each publication was designed to maintain continuity with the artist’s visual identity while adapting the graphic structure to the specific exhibition and its artworks. The combination of typography, imagery, spacing and contrast was developed to create publications that are both functional and visually coherent. The same approach was applied to exhibition posters, invitations and other printed communication materials, creating a coordinated visual system across the different stages of the artist’s communication.
Digital and Print Communication Workflow
The project also involved managing the entire communication workflow surrounding the exhibitions. For posters and invitations, I created custom QR codes linking directly to the dedicated landing pages for each exhibition, connecting the printed communication with the relevant information available online. I also optimized the exhibition catalogs for digital use, working on their structure, imagery and layout to ensure they could be easily viewed online as well as in print. This approach allowed catalogs, posters, invitations and exhibition landing pages to work together as parts of a single, coordinated communication system.
