Copernico facility management

As a corporate identity designer I was asked to create, starting from the logo design, all the corporate identity for Copernico, a facility management company in Rome. I created a simple but effective business cards for all the staff, the company brochure and of course a modern and responsive website all coordinated the new corporate identity. For the logo, the client wanted the Copernican planetarium to be used as a symbol base. Object not easy to translate and to use as primary symbol of a logo design.
Corporate identity study
Only a professional corporate identity designer can always keep the same character and style everywhere. For this reason I decided to make a lot of use of photographic material to represent the services in conjunction with vector graphics derived from the logo design.
A Copernican planetarium identifies the logo design in a stylized graphic symbol.
The symbol succeeds in successfully identifying the Copernican planetarium, combining a good reading ability to all the dimensions that a logo must necessarily have to be defined as such.
This logo is also joined by the “FACILITY MANAGEMENT” tagline to immediately clarify the corporate target. First of all, main symbol that characterizes the entire corporate identity is the planetarium that transmits different values: on the one hand, experience and professionalism, while on the other, simplicity and immediate recognition against the competitors. A lowercase font was chosen for the name “Copernico”, with soft shapes that are pleasantly shared with the curves represented in the symbol.
We all know it! The corporate identity designer are colors lovers! For his reason I choose green shades (green british).

Corporate Brochure Design
The project involved the concept and graphic design of a 32-page institutional corporate brochure, developed with the aim of structuring a solid, modern communication strongly tied to the brand identity. A key element of the project is the artistic direction applied to the study of the profiles and the photographic component. To communicate authenticity, I selected images depicting real people in daily contexts related to specific company roles, prioritizing the intensity of chiaroscuro, contrast, and a perfect balance of visual proportions.This approach is reflected in the cover, conceived as a dedicated print file and characterized by an engaging visual impact where the profiles ideally converge toward the company logo. Inside the brochure, the faces and gazes of the professionals were positioned to guide the user’s eye toward the text information and numerical data on the pages, creating a visually interactive effect designed down to the smallest detail.
The internal structure develops through coordinated narrative and infographic sections. In the section dedicated to company history, the text was segmented with dedicated subheadings and integrated with graphic elements derived from the logo and corporate slogan. Finally, the geographic distribution of services was visually translated through a cartographic map of Italy paired with text lists divided by region, while the contact section was made interactive and digitally oriented thanks to the integration of a QR code for a direct link to the website. Professional and Responsive Website
To reinforce the brand identity, I carefully integrated the key elements of the brochure, such as the custom icon set and the institutional font, creating strong visual consistency throughout the website. The color study guided the visual hierarchy: I alternated white space, ideal for giving the text breathing room and improving the readability of crucial information, with backgrounds in a Copernicus Green tone, used strategically to create contrast and give maximum graphic emphasis to the most important areas. From a technical and user experience standpoint, the layout was designed based on a fluid grid. This approach ensures flawless responsive behavior and perfect adaptability on every type of screen, from desktop computers to mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.
