The Project Brief
A jewelry store based in Bellano, on the shores of Lake Como, approached us for a complete restyling of their brand identity and logo. The primary goal was to modernize the visual language, making it more sophisticated and attractive to a contemporary audience. A key requirement was to preserve a meaningful connection to the local territory, specifically paying homage to Bellano’s unique heritage on Lake Como. Following the successful brand redesign, we also developed a design ecommerce platform to bring their exquisite collections online.
Logo design Concept
The final logo seamlessly integrates a custom monogram of the initials “O”, “P”, and “B” (Oreficeria Paruzzi Bellano), maintaining a profound connection to the local territory and the distinctive landscape of Lake Como. The symbol is composed of three distinct segments, each meticulously color-coded to represent the brand’s core elements: Gold (Yellow), symbolizing craftsmanship and jewelry, and Lake (Blue), paying homage to the waters of Bellano.
This multifaceted symbol encapsulates several layers of meaning: the rhythmic waves of the lake, a stylized silhouette of Lake Como, and the fusion of the brand’s initials. Designed for versatility, the icon can be detached from the main logo to create autonomous patterns and graphic elements, further enhancing the brand’s visual identity across all platforms.
Typography & Variations
We selected a modern, professional typeface characterized by technical precision and geometric harmony. The brand architecture includes three primary lockups to ensure maximum adaptability: a vertically centered primary version, a “Stamp” style variant for iconic applications, and a horizontally aligned layout for wide formats.

The alternative logo design always represents the initial letters “O”, “P” and “B”, and the ring symbol, examples of different fonts and colors, but with less reference to the lake concept.
