Brand Analysis and Client Requirements
LCS is a UK-based Internet Service Provider (ISP) specialising in broadband connectivity and digital communications through advanced satellite technologies. The company contacted StartupDesignPro to redesign its corporate website, following several issues with the previous platform: poor compatibility with mobile devices, numerous HTML code validation errors, and display problems caused by overlapping graphic elements within the layout.
The main requirement was to develop a new web architecture capable of:
- resolving navigation issues on mobile devices through a Mobile-First approach;
- improving the technical structure and SEO optimisation, with the aim of supporting the website’s organic visibility;
- creating a solid, scalable structure that could be easily managed and developed in the future.
Website Design Concept
WordPress was selected for the development of the new platform and configured and customised according to the specific requirements of the project.
First of all, the new layout was designed according to Responsive Web Design principles, allowing the website to adapt to different devices, from desktop monitors to tablets and smartphones.
The visual strategy redefined the content hierarchy to improve readability and navigation. The use of white space contributes to creating a cleaner and more organised interface, consistent with the company’s technological positioning.
This project did not involve a complete redesign of the existing logo. The visual identity was therefore enhanced through the use of the colours already associated with the brand and the globe element, which is particularly effective in visually communicating concepts such as global connectivity, satellite networks and international coverage.
Some interface elements, including icons, images and headings, can also be animated as they appear during scrolling, making the browsing experience more dynamic.
